And a handyman bathed in ink who could moonlight as a supermodel for GQ. She decides to give it three days, and not because of the model. She feels at home in Salem. Safe. But even that comes to a screeching halt when people begin knocking on her door day and night, begging for her help to locate their lost objects. Come to find out, they think she’s a witch. And after a few mysterious mishaps, Dephne is beginning to wonder if they’re right.

Mobi Betwixt: A Paranormal Women's Fiction Novel (Betwixt & Between Book One) with Free MOBI EDITION!

I like the premise but I’m disappointed in the main characters. Defiance and Annette, forty something women, talk and act more like twenty something Charlie and Cookie. This is the second book in the new PWF genre I have read and I don’t think it really embraced the mature woman theme. Defiance is childish and erratic in all things which makes it hard to buy the idea she was a successful restaurant owner. The characters have the same snarky humor which can be fun and can wear thin. I like the idea of PWF genre and will buy books from many of the other authors. I will also buy the next book in this series because I like this author but I hope Defiance will become more of a forty four year old woman and not a twenty something clone.
